Ms. Jacqueline Katz Hired as Supervisor of Science
GRPS welcomes Ms. Jacqueline Katz as the new K-12 Supervisor of Science. Ms. Katz has worked in education for the last 12 years, teaching high school biology and chemistry. During that time, she built a science research program and middle school eSTEAM building program.
“These experiences to build leadership skills, as well as my one year as an Albert Einstein fellow at the Library of Congress,” she explained, “have led me to take this next step in my career.” Ms. Katz said she is most looking forward to collaborating with the teachers and administrators of GRPS to build authentic STEM experiences for students.
In her personal time, Ms. Katz loves to be outside–running, swimming, bike riding, and more. Now that she has moved north from the Princeton area, she said she cannot wait to explore the beautiful parks and trails of Bergen County. Welcome to the Glen Rock family, Ms. Katz!
