National Merit Commended Scholars are high-achieving students recognized for their outstanding performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). Commended Scholars represent the top 3% of test-takers nationwide. This recognition acknowledges their academic excellence, dedication to learning, and potential for future success. Commended Scholars often receive accolades from colleges and universities, showcasing their commitment to academic achievement and their potential as scholars and leaders in their chosen fields.
