2025 National Merit Scholars Recognized by BOE

Dr. Lauren Daniell, Director of Student Personnel Services, was thrilled to recognize two 2025 National Merit Scholarship Award recipients at the June 9 Board of Education meeting. Huge congratulations to Ethan Tsang ‘25, who will be attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Jeremy Bedwell-Coll ‘25, who will be attending Purdue University, both as National Merit Scholars!
A National Merit Scholarship winner is a high-achieving high school student recognized for exceptional performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, an honor that highlights some of the nation’s most academically talented students. Administered by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, this award involves a rigorous selection process, including evaluation of academic records, essays, recommendations, and progression through multiple competitive stages of the competition. Finalists who are selected as winners receive scholarships, often sponsored by their chosen colleges or universities.
